The Gloria Group purchased Farmacéutica
del Pacífico in 1990. The referred
company is engaged in the manufacture, distribution
and sale of pharmaceutical products and
toiletry. It was founded in the city of
Arequipa, 77 years ago under the name of
Sydney Ross.
Today Farmacéutica
del Pacífico, has prepared itself
to face the challenge of maintaining a leading
position in the Peruvian pharmaceutical
market by developing high quality products.
At present, it is one of the pharmaceutical
laboratories with the greatest growth and
evolution in the over-the-counter (OTC)
market.
The facilities
of Farmacéutica del Pacifico occupy
a total area of 13,263 m2, comprised by
the Production Plant, Warehouses, Maintenance
Workshop, Administrative Offices and Service
Departments, green areas as well as a circulation
area for light vehicles. The production
area has been designed to protect each and
every process for the manufacture of products
from internal and/or external contamination.

It has four specific
production lines: tablets and capsules, powders,
liquids and toiletry. All our procedures, processes,
controls and systems are based on our own technology,
in compliance with the quality standards of the
United States Pharmacopoeia, the Food & Drug
Administration and GMP.
For the fifth consecutive
year our company obtained the Certificate of Good
Manufacturing Practices granted by the Ministry
of Health – DIGEMID, an acknowledgement
that helps us to maintain our commitment towards
development, dedicated to optimizing all our efforts
and improving the quality of life of persons.
