On May 17, 2005 the Gloria Group ads closure to a successful transaction in which throught its subsisiary Gloriaecuador S.A. acquires 75% share of stock of
Lechera Andina S.A. from Ecuador, highlighting the Group’s regional growth strategy by entering the ecuatorian market.

Dairy company Andina SA -Leans, was founded in 1984, having the industrial plant in The Chillos valley, 17.5 km south of the capital.

The company produces and commercializes UHT milk with Andina brand and different kinds of milk to drink in plastic bag and carton, cream in bag and UHT milk in carton with Algarra Brand to be exported to Colombia.
