Cement Yura

Is the same company, Yura S.A. cement division, that provides us with the necessary cement to produce different types of concrete, following strict quality standards, thereby guaranteeing our client a timely supply and yura s.a. quality assurance. Our concrete products, according to the requirements of our clients, are usually produced with the following types of cements:
- Portland-puzzolan cement -type 1p
- Portland cement - type 1pm
- Cement type I
- Cement type V

Aggregates

We use crushed stone of different sizes, n° 4 sand and eventually other types of stones in the production of our concrete products. All aggregates (fine and coarse) are suitably tested and analyzed in our laboratory, and our suppliers are selected based on their quality.

The maximum size grading of the coarse aggregate (crushed stone), crushed mechanically, of different sizes used in our plant varies between ½", ¾", 1", 1 ½", according to the technical specifications of our clients and the requirements of the project.

Additives

We use additives for state-of-the art concrete products, such as retardants, accelerators, plasticizers, super plasticizers, air incorporators, etc. As in the case of the other inputs, before using the additives in the production of the concrete, they are also tested in our laboratory, making sure that they provide the concrete with the most suitable properties and that are required by our clients. All this control of raw materials guarantees a quality concrete.

As in the case of the other raw materials, the water used in the production of premixed concrete is previously subjected to a strict quality control. The water for the production of premixed concrete must be transparent (colorless), clean and free of harmful quantities of oils, alkalis, acids, salts, organic matter, glycosides or other substances that may have a negative effect on the setting, strength or durability of the concrete or on the steel framework. .
